An imaginative picture of a large oceanic, predatory fish which resembles something from the age of the dinosaurs. There are ferocious spines along its back and razor-sharp backward-facing teeth, but it has a strange, sinuous beauty of line.
Swimming with it are 3 tiny fish painted with silver metallic leaf, hard to see until the light catches them.
This is one of five 'Fantastic Fish' acrylic paintings inspired by delving into Google Free Images and augmented by my own imagination.
