This is the first of six paintings on the theme of The Secret Garden.
A strange, surreal figure almost obscurs the true door to the Secret Garden. It holds a paintbrush in one hand and appears to be painting itself, while the other hand holds a key aloft - but this is painted and not real. A flower looks on while a little cat sleeps curled up by the [real] step.

Most of these paintings are acrylic on paper or board. They are sent in a 5 or 6cm-wide white or cream mount with mountboard backing to protect them in the post. They can easily be detached from this to be mounted or framed as you wish. Acrylic paint is waterproof when dry, so they are suitable for a kitchen or bathroom.
I have not so far been asked to accept a return, and paintings are quite easily damaged unless carefully packed, but if you are not happy with your purchase, I am willing to discuss it.
