An acrylic flow abstract - inks dropped into Liquitex pouring medium - seemed to suggest something very fiery, and there was also an egg-shaped hole in one place. My immediate thought was of a Phoenix, a legendary immortal bird that continually regenerates. Associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by rising from the ashes of its predecessor, some legends saying it dies in a show of flames and combustion.
An dragon on an old Chinese embroidery gave me an inspirational image.
