In fairy tales a dragon is invariably associated with gold - stealing it, hoarding it, sleeping on it, or just enjoying the posession of it. This is a rather thin, spiky dragon whom I drew from an old blue and white Chinese plate and coloured with imagination to better fit the part.
For the gold I used acrylic gold paint and metallic foil and Schminke gold powder which I mixed with acrylic medium.
Dragon with Gold
Most of these paintings are acrylic on paper or board. They are sent in a 5 or 6cm-wide white or cream mount with mountboard backing to protect them in the post. They can easily be detached from this to be mounted or framed as you wish. Acrylic paint is waterproof when dry, so they are suitable for a kitchen or bathroom.
I have not so far been asked to accept a return, and paintings are quite easily damaged unless carefully packed, but if you are not happy with your purchase, I am willing to discuss it.
