In this acrylic painting a brilliantly-coloured imaginary fish swims through skeins of bubbles. The vivid blues, greens, yellows and purples of its exuberant flowing tail and fins are echoed in the more muted colours of the ripples in the water, some of which are painted with acrylic 'interference' colours which reflect back the light at certain angles.
This is one of five 'Fantastic Fish' paintings inspired by delving into Google's Free Images and augmented by my own imagination.
