This is the fifth of six acrylic paintings on the theme of The Secret Garden.

What strange creatures might be found in such a garden?

At an art class we were asked to draw each other but with an animal's head.

I choose a Pallas cat. These rare felines have thick fur coats, flat heads, and small ears and come from cold, rocky places in the central Asian steppes. Their pupils contract into small circles rather than vertical slits. A very few have been bred in a Wildlife sanctuary in England, and one might have wandered away?

A beautiful blue Morpho butterfly keeps her company.

  • Most of these paintings are acrylic on paper or board. They are sent in a 5 or 6cm-wide white or cream mount with mountboard backing to protect them in the post. They can easily be detached from this to be mounted or framed as you wish. Acrylic paint is waterproof when dry, so they are suitable for a kitchen or bathroom.

I have not so far been asked to accept a return, and paintings are quite easily damaged unless carefully packed, but if you are not happy with your purchase, I am willing to discuss it.
